Good morning, lovelies!
Ok, so it’s not really Volume 1 of “What I wore Sunday” for me but I’ve been in such a blog lull that I figure it’s time for a re-boot!
For my new readers, “What I Wore Sunday” is a link-up of bloggers featuring what they wore to church… their Best Bibs and Tuckers so to speak! It was created to give inspiration to other women and to spark creativity among ourselves.
You can visit the other bloggers at Fine Linen and Purple!

(Not Pictured) I covered using a cute newsboys’ cap as I couldn’t find my veil and we were running late.
Yesterday was a “longer” Mass for us and I was glad I chose this easy-breezy combo and things started getting a wee bit warm at around the 1:15 mark. I love Divine Mercy Sunday, a chance for us to really bask in and remember how great Jesus’ mercy and love is for us. Yesterday, two little girls were baptized during the Mass, a group of first communicants (from a private Catholic school) were recognized and we celebrated the canonization of two Popes: Pope Saint John XXIII and Pope Saint John Paul II! Whew!
During Eastertide, the Mass readings are from the Acts of the Apostles and (this year) from the first letter of Saint Peter. My favorite part from the letter is this passage:
Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, as you attain the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Ain’t that the truth?
